What stays off the page
A swatch card records only what you put on it. Our pages work the same way, and since you put nothing on them, there is very little to record. Last revised October 2026.
The short version
- Accounts and passwords
- None. There is nothing to sign in to.
- Forms and newsletters
- None.
- Payment and delivery details
- Entered only at the partner store, never here.
- Only if you choose to write to us.
- Fonts
- Our typefaces load from Google Fonts, so your browser contacts Google's servers when a page opens.
What the server notes down
The server that delivers our pages keeps a routine log of each request: IP address, date and time, the page requested, and the device and browser type. We read these logs in aggregate to keep pages loading, to catch errors and abuse, and to see which guides get read. We do not use them to follow any one person.
Past the buy button
A buy button opens the item at our partner store. From that moment you are on the store's pages, under the store's privacy policy and cookie choices, and the store can tell that you came from us. Your name, address and payment stay between you and the store.
Letters
If you email contact@soucolor.org, we see your address and whatever you wrote or attached. We use it to answer you. We do not add it to a list, and we delete the thread when you ask.
Three things you can ask us
- What do you hold about me?Unless you have written to us, nothing beyond the short-lived logs described above.
- Please delete itWe remove your emails and confirm when it is done.
- Please explainIf a line on this page is unclear, ask and we will put it more plainly.
Children
We make supplies for children, and we write these pages for the adults who choose them. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, of any age.
