Paper heavy enough that we stopped worrying about how much paint went on.

This is our 9x12 inch paint pad: twenty sheets of 400gsm paper behind a white hardcover, with heavy-duty coils across the top. We made it for acrylic, oil and gouache painters who want a firm, unmoving surface at a size that fits a desk or a lap. The paper takes thick paint, impasto and collage without warping or buckling.

• 400gsm paper resists warping, buckling and bleeding under thick paint and impasto.
• Heavy-duty top spiral lets the 9x12 inch pad lie completely flat while you paint.
• Surface takes light pencil under-drawing and erases cleanly before paint goes on.
• Each perforated sheet tears out straight without damaging the thick paper.
